Boxers 10th Birthday

More work completed, this time for Boxer.

Swedish (and Danish) cabel-tv provider turned 10 years old last week and celebrated by throwing nine (why not 10?) online competitions for their customers to win costly prizes.

I stood for the flash production and backend for this one, only for Boxer customers though so all I can offer are two screenshots. Design & conecpt from agency Gravity Hill.

53 Colors

So it is finally online, our site for our class promotion. It was a painful experience to produce it and I think I learned a lot about project processes (and deadlines).

I don’t think my English is good enough to take you through the whole process and what I learned from what so I’ll give you some do’s and don’ts instead.

  • Don’t change the visual experience four days before deadline and stay up all night trying to make the site more awesome while throwing away everything you and everybody else have worked on the last two weeks.
  • Do make proper research and testing and come up with the best idea before starting the actual production.
  • Don’t get in a state of never being satisfied with your work and tweak details back and forth in about a week while missing obvious flaws instead.
  • Do ask people to have a look and give feedback on what they think would work better.

Anyways, have a look at the site here. www.53colors.com

Daytum

Private betas makes me feel cool. I got an invite to daytum, a web service for random statistics from Feltrum and partners.

I must say this service is nothing but awesome, finally I can keep track of my coffee intake and divide it in the amount of hours I work and find the golden ratio of coffee/effectiveness.

Have a look at my ongoing study at www.daytum.com/kristofer.

(This is my coffee intake in one day, two regular black, two espresso and one cappuccino)
